The Hiding Place
Sitting on the edge of a bluff overlooking the Cumberland River, The Hiding Place is a beautiful facility built to meet some specific needs for CLC, alumni, and various other Christian organizations.
CLC utilizes The Hiding Place for its training conferences, couples retreats and other overnight retreats, as well as strategic planning sessions and personal retreats. CLC alumni are encouraged to use the facility for a variety of ministry outreach
opportunities and personal times of reflection and study. Churches, parachurch ministries, and Christ-centered businesses are invited to inquire about availability and space.
Surrounded by 75 acres of wooded property, The Hiding Place is a perfect spot for visitors to take long hikes or perch themselves on a rock for moments of meditation. The lodge has a large great room / dining area with a fireplace, a full kitchen, a library / prayer room, a wrap around deck and covered porch, and a conference / meeting area downstairs. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes, service for 24, and groups are welcome to cook their own meals. A nearby catering service is also available upon request.
The 12 bedroom/12 bath lodge accomodates up to 12 couples or 18 individuals for overnight stays and can handle up to 25 people comfortably for a one-day meeting.
The Hiding Place is a smoke-free, alcohol-free facility. The facility is principally used for adult gatherings and not for teen or youth retreats. Pets are not allowed at The Hiding Place. The Hiding Place is privately owned by Christian Leadership Concepts, Inc. and is not built for commercial use. Reservations are subject to availability and approval.
